What's New

Changelog

Every notable change to 7Ovr: new blocks, improvements, and fixes.

1.5.0SaaS Landing 2

Added

  • SaaS Landing 2: a second free landing page template, shaped as a product tour with a screenshot gallery, tabbed features, a four-step walkthrough, an integrations grid, and a side-by-side comparison.
  • Template previews can now switch between the floating dock and a sidebar alongside the page, and your choice is remembered.

Changed

  • Polished all four templates: each page now uses one consistent section label, with even spacing and matching headings from top to bottom.

Fixed

  • Stats on the SaaS Landing template show their real figures right away instead of sitting at zero until you scroll to them.
1.4.1Pro polish pass

Changed

  • Pro blocks share one entrance now: content fades up through a soft blur, so a page built from several of them reads as one piece.
  • Animated blocks follow your system reduce motion setting. Movement stops, gentle fades stay.
  • Logos are built in as SVG instead of loaded from elsewhere, so blocks paint instantly, work offline, and follow your theme.
  • The templates catalog is a two-up grid with fully clickable cards.

Fixed

  • Installing a block now pulls exactly the components it needs, with none left out and none you do not use.
  • Accessibility pass across the Pro tier: visible focus rings, stronger text contrast, and correct names for charts and sliders.
  • Visual cleanup: clipped hero artwork, oversized logos in the testimonial cards, and misaligned table and sidebar content.
1.4.0Pro in preview

Added

  • 7Ovr Pro is now in preview. Browse the full Pro catalog and preview every Pro block live, right next to the free ones and marked with a Pro badge. Pricing and checkout arrive with the official launch; for now Pro is free to explore.

Changed

  • Redesigned the home page: a new animated hero with a floating tech stack and clearer calls to action, a stats section with a world map, a categorized FAQ, and a fresh closing call to action.
  • Refreshed the site chrome: search now opens from a single button in the header, the light and dark theme toggle moved to the footer, and every page header was restyled to a cleaner icon and label with a short heading.
  • Clarified licensing now that Pro exists: free blocks stay MIT-0, so you can use, modify, and ship them anywhere with no attribution, while Pro blocks carry a separate commercial license that opens with the launch.
1.3.2Two more templates

Added

  • Startup template: a lean, conversion-focused waitlist one-pager with a centered hero and inline email capture, stats, a feature grid, a how-it-works timeline, a featured testimonial, and a waitlist signup band. Install the whole page with one shadcn command.
  • Dashboard template: a logged-in app starter with a collapsible sidebar and a command-palette top bar wrapping stat cards, an interactive area chart, and a sortable, paginated data table.
1.3.1Template detail pages

Added

  • Each template now has its own detail page with a live preview, the one-line install command, a breakdown of every block it is built from, and an FAQ. The SaaS Landing page is sharper too, with one cohesive background and ambient light tying the sections together instead of a patchwork.

Changed

  • Polished the templates experience end to end: clearer page structure and copy, richer block cards, a tidier install command, and faster, link-friendly navigation between a template and the blocks it uses.
1.3.0Templates

Added

  • Templates: complete, opinionated pages assembled from 7Ovr blocks and installable with a single shadcn command. Browse them on the new Templates page, then preview one live at desktop, tablet, or mobile width, in light or dark mode. The first is a free SaaS Landing page composed from eleven blocks (header, hero, social proof, features, bento, stats, testimonials, pricing, FAQ, and a closing CTA).

Changed

  • Reworked the template preview into a floating toolbar (back, viewport sizes, theme toggle, open in a new tab, and a copy-install command with a package-manager picker), and swapped the loading flash on preview thumbnails for a smooth loader.

Fixed

  • Hardened block installs: a fresh shadcn add now pulls the Base UI runtime automatically, so any block or template compiles cleanly in a new project with no manual setup.
1.2.2Pro is coming

Added

  • 7Ovr Pro is on the way: a premium tier of advanced, high-effort blocks, installable with the shadcn CLI just like the free ones. More soon.

Fixed

  • Fixed a duplicated navigation bar that could appear on 404 pages.
1.2.1Catalog search

Added

  • Search the block catalog. The blocks page now has a search box in its header that filters categories by name as you type, with a clear empty state. Searches are shareable and bookmarkable through a ?q= URL parameter.

Changed

  • Reworked the installation docs into a clearer top-to-bottom guide: dropped the numbered stepper, and added a Prerequisites step (initialize shadcn/ui) up front plus a Next steps pointer to the catalog at the end.
1.2.0Twelve new categories

Added

  • Content and editorial blocks for sites and docs: chronological timelines, release changelogs, public roadmaps, and long-form article layouts.
  • Application patterns: multi-step progress indicators, public profile pages, activity feeds, and live search with filters and keyboard navigation.
  • Company and product pages: careers listings and role details, about sections, a system status page with 90-day uptime history, and human chat and support widgets.

Changed

  • Rebuilt the chat, AI chat, and file upload blocks on shadcn's latest Base UI primitives (Message, Bubble, MessageScroller, Marker, and Attachment): auto-following message scroll with a scroll-to-end button, sender-aligned bubbles, and upload rows that reflect uploading, done, and error states.
  • Polished feeds and lists: dated separators on the timeline, activity, and status blocks, soft scroll-edge fades on the notification and kanban lists and the changelog, and a shimmering newsletter loading state.
1.1.1App block polish

Fixed

  • Polished the App blocks across the board: consistent responsive breakpoints so grids and tables render correctly in the catalog, title-cased labels and timestamps, and the classic logo mark used everywhere.
  • Hardened the interactive blocks: toasts no longer stack on repeated clicks, chart year and range switchers now use proper Select inputs, and assorted spacing and copy details were refined.
1.1.0New blocks and fixes

Added

  • Four new categories of simple, free blocks: error pages, cookie consent, application page headers, and coming-soon pages, plus new stats and bento variants.

Fixed

  • Polished the Marketing blocks across the board: consistent responsive breakpoints so layouts show correctly in the catalog, tidier copy, and refined spacing and details.
1.0.0Launch

Added

  • 123 free blocks across 36 categories spanning Marketing and App, installable with the shadcn CLI straight into your repo.
  • Built on Base UI and Tailwind CSS v4 with RemixIcon. Every block is responsive with first-class light and dark modes.
  • MIT licensed, free for personal and commercial use, no lock-in. The source lands as readable code you own.
