Tessera

Configure once, answer everywhere. No regions to choose.

Tessera runs your code in 300 locations at once and routes each request to the closest healthy one. There is no origin region to pick and nothing to fail over.

Coverage

One Network, 300 Locations

Every location runs the same code and holds the same cache. Watch the routing decisions and the regional latency as they happen.

Migration

Before You Move Your DNS

Migration, caching, and what happens when your origin goes down. All open, so you can scan them in seconds.

How long does a migration take?

About four minutes for a single domain: point the CLI at your origin, verify the certificate, move the DNS. Your old host keeps serving until the records propagate, so there is no cutover window.

What happens when our origin goes down?

Cached routes keep serving from the edge, and anything uncacheable returns your chosen stale response rather than a 502. Origin Shield collapses the retry storm so your server gets one request, not thousands.

How is bandwidth billed?

It is not. Bandwidth, requests, and all 300 locations are included at every tier, and you are billed for concurrent workers instead. A traffic spike costs you nothing extra.

Where is the cache stored?

In volatile memory and on encrypted local disk at each location, never replicated to a central store. You choose which regions may hold it, which is how data-residency customers pin the cache to the EU.

Can we purge the cache from CI?

Yes, with a scoped token. Purge by URL, by tag, or everything, and the call returns once every location has acknowledged rather than optimistically.

Do you run your own hardware?

In 41 of the 300 locations, and we peer into the rest. The published latency figures are measured from real user traffic, not from our own probes sitting in the same rack.

Cut Over

Live In About Four Minutes

Point the CLI at your origin, verify the certificate, move the DNS. Your old host keeps serving until you are ready to cut over.
